OzPol Villa

The OzPol Villa is beautiful, self-contained aged care accommodation with its own on site manager. Tucked away in a quiet street in the Brisbane suburb of Nundah, OzPol Villa offers the best of both worlds. A peaceful retreat with only 14 residents each enjoying accommodation that overlooks a communal courtyard, it’s homely and connected to nature. But it’s also close to Brisbane, hospitals, healthcare and other day to day facilities, as well as the Gateway Motorway and airport, making it easy for friends and family to visit regularly. It’s secluded but not remote or isolated.

Life at OzPol Villa

Moving to an aged care home doesn’t mean giving up life’s routines and pleasures, and at All Aged Care we tailor a care and lifestyle plan that replicates as near as possible the normal home routines and activities our residents brought with them.

That includes making sure residents still feel in charge of decisions about how they live their life, their health and wellbeing.

With the burden of care no longer falling to family members they can visit regularly and take the opportunity to re-establish a relationship that might have been temporarily replaced by that of carer.

Families and friends are encouraged to become part of the life of OzPol Villa, visit as often as possible and take residents on trips and outings.

Group or individual social activities are also a big part of life at OzPol Villa and residents and their families regularly join in outings and other fun and stimulating activities.

A delicious menu of food is prepared on site every day and meals cater to individual needs and preferences such as vegetarianism or foods unique to particular nationalities.

Services at OzPol Villa

OzPol Villa offers a 24-hour care service, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Day-to-day assistance with personal care such as showering and shaving, dressing and undressing, and using the bathroom or toilet is offered by a caring professional team who respect dignity, privacy and personal space.

The qualified professional team at All Aged Care also offer assistance with a range of other services including:

• Nursing services
• Medication prompts
• Allied Health services
• Medication co-ordination between GP and pharmacist that’s overseen by a qualified RN
• Counselling and support
• Social activities

A medical practitioner is available at appointed times, but residents are also free to choose their own GP. Allied health services by our own Allied Health team such as podiatry, occupational therapy and physiotherapy can also be organised as can the delivery and safe co-ordination of Webster packed medications.

OzPol Villa services cater best for individuals who can no longer remain in their homes on a permanent basis or on a short term respite basis to give their families and primary carers a rest. 

OzPol Villa is RSA accredited. The Villa scored very highly on a recent audit and was awarded the maximum term of three years accreditation.

Founder Irene Biedak’s understands what defines excellent aged care accommodation. She helped her own mum meet and overcome the challenges of making the move when the time was right.

Her mum was initially resistant to the move and started out just visiting the centre. Eventually she began staying for short periods of time. Irene promised her mum that she wouldn’t sell her home so she always had the option to return home during that transition. Soon she was spending more and more time at OzPol Villa until one day she didn’t go back to visit her home. OzPol Villa become her home and remained so for three years until she passed away.
